Dear Greenwich Customers,

On November 14th, 2017, the Connecticut State Siting Council ruled in favor of Eversource's proposal to build a substation on the property located at 290 Railroad Ave in Greenwich, CT. As a result of this ruling, this unfortunately means that the flagship location of Pet Pantry Warehouse in Greenwich will be closing its doors on December 31st, 2017.

This has been a very difficult process for us as a company to handle. Not only did we lose sleep over how to best to navigate these difficult times, but also, to make sure that we can care for you, our loyal customers and your loving pets. We are deeply saddened by this turn of events and we would like to thank all of our loyal customers and Greenwich residents who have stood by and supported us for all of these years. For over 72 years, Pet Pantry Warehouse has had the privilege of serving the Greenwich community, its people, and its pets.

Fortunately, the Pet Pantry Warehouse has continued to flourish and expand over the years. We have two locations in close proximity that are ready to receive you and supply your pets' needs! Our newest location in Riverside, CT (1191 East Putnam Ave) is waiting to welcome you, as is our 2nd location in Rye, NY (259 Purchase St).

Please stop in, show your support, and celebrate the holiday season with us at or our Greenwich location through the month of December! We will, however, be making a few changes to begin this transition. As of Monday 11/27, our store hours will be adjusted to reflect the same times as our other locations:

Monday-Friday: 9am-7pm

Saturday: 9am-6pm

Sunday: 10am-6pm

In addition, we will no longer be able to carry particular product categories, simply due to space restrictions in our other locations. These will include all live animals and "Nutrena" brand farm feed. Fish, reptile, small mammal, pet bird, and wild bird supplies will still be available in limited selections in our other locations. However, these will still be available to you via special orders at any time.

From the bottom of our hearts, we want everyone in the Greenwich community and beyond to know how special this community is to us. We feel very lucky to have the opportunity to carry the torch in additional nearby locations, and look forward to serving you for another 72 years and beyond.
